Dr. James Raytsin, PT, DPT

Background

Dr. James is a Board-Certified Doctor of Physical Therapy and a pioneer in mobile therapy. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He then went on to complete his Doctorate degree at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Prior to founding Personal Care Physical Therapy, Dr. James worked as a Physical Therapist for various outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. In those different settings he treated all types of injuries and surgeries ranging from young athletes, to adults and seniors. Dr. James chose to start a therapy practice that focuses on direct one-on-one personalized and individualized attention for each client, with the goal of keeping active people healthy and mobile without unnecessary pain medications, injections or surgery.

As a former Division 1 Men's Soccer player, James has always had a deep understanding and passion for proper body mechanics, injury prevention and healing techniques. He specializes in treating competitive and professional athletes, with focus on preventative care and rehabilitation. Now, Dr. James is an advocate of injury prevention traveling throughout his community passionately educating individuals about the vital role of fitness and proper body mechanics in enhancing overall well-being and preventing injuries. Through engaging workshops and informative sessions, he aims to raise awareness and empower people with the knowledge they need to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

When not working with his patients, James enjoys playing Golf, Tennis, Pickleball, and staying active.
